Your skin needs what the forest floor already knows

Mycelium is the living root network of mushrooms, the part underground that feeds, repairs and protects the whole organism. It is dense with polysaccharides, beta-glucans, ceramides and antioxidants, the same compounds stressed skin runs short of: moisture-binding sugars, barrier lipids and free-radical defense.

How to use

The Mycelium ritual

Cleanse · AM + PM

One pump of Cleansing Gel on damp skin. Massage 30 seconds, rinse. Skin should feel soft, never tight.

Treat · 2–3× a week

Apply a thin layer of Gel Mask to clean skin. Leave 10 to 15 minutes, rinse with warm water. Use it after any flare-up.

Eyes · AM + PM

Pat a rice-grain amount of Mycelium Eye Cream from inner to outer corner. It layers under makeup.

Moisturize

Follow with Day Cream in the morning and Night Cream at night. Mycelium is CBD-free, so the two collections stack.

What is mycelium?

Mycelium is the root system of a mushroom: a vast underground network of fine threads that feeds, repairs and protects the fungus. It is where the most concentrated polysaccharides, beta-glucans and antioxidants live, which is why we formulate with it rather than the mushroom cap alone.

Which mushrooms are in the Mycelium collection?

Shiitake, tremella, oyster, mesima, maitake and turkey tail, in every product in the collection, plus the Spiritus Vitae™ complex.

Is the Mycelium collection good for sensitive skin?

Yes. It was formulated for sensitive, reactive and stressed skin. The Cleansing Gel is fragrance-light and rinses without tightness, and the Gel Mask is the product our rosacea-prone customers reach for first.

Does the Mycelium collection contain CBD?

No. Mycelium is our CBD-free collection. It pairs well with the Cannabidiol collection: many customers use the Mycelium Cleansing Gel and Gel Mask with the CBD Night Cream.

How do I use the three products together?

Cleanse with the Cleansing Gel morning and night. Use the Gel Mask two or three times a week, leaving it on for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing. Finish with the Mycelium Eye Cream and your day or night cream.

Is HAOMA vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. Every HAOMA formula is vegan and never tested on animals.

What is the Forbidden List?

The list of ingredients we refuse to use: SLS/SLES, parabens, phthalates, petroleum, artificial colors, contaminants, GMOs, toxins, artificial fragrances and cyclic silicones.

Will CBD skincare make me feel anything?

No. Topical CBD does not enter the bloodstream in a way that produces any psychoactive effect. It works locally on the skin to calm and support the barrier.
