Featured Artist: CARLOS NIÑO

This month, we sat down with the legendary Carlos Niño, whose soaring, meditative piece "NewOcean (Duet)" graces December's Radio flow. Carlos' work spans genres, mediums, and the globe, but the common thread is always spreading a message of love. His new record, Bliss On Dear Oneness is out now on Leaving Records. We are so grateful to have him be a part of the Haoma universe!

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST MEMORY OF A PLANT?

My earliest plant memories are of growing up in a home full of plants that my mom Carla had. They were hanging everywhere in her elaborate and beautiful macrame worlds. My mom was a master of macrame.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE EVER LEARNED FROM A PLANT?

Plants have shared many things with me. I'm so enthusiastically appreciative of them all! They taught me to be as uniquely myself as I can.

WHAT IS THE KINDEST THING A PLANT HAS EVER DONE FOR YOU?

The kindest thing plants have ever done for me is to gently and magnificently inspire me into greater realizations of my Spiritual Consciousness.

WHAT'S THE LAST PLANT YOU ATE?

The last plant that I ate was yummy massaged kale leaves. "Thank you very much for merging with me," I thought and said.

WHAT'S THE LONGEST RELATIONSHIP YOU'VE EVER HAD WITH A PLANT?

I have eternal relationships with some of my plant friends!
